About the Journal
KWASU Journal of Fine and Applied Arts (KWAJOFAA) provides a platform for scholarly discourse, research, and creative expressions in Fine and Applied Arts and its related areas. Published biannually by the Department of Fine and Applied Arts at Kwara State University, the journal encourages innovative approaches to creativity, aesthetics and pedagogy relating to all areas of Fine and Applied Arts.
Scope of Journal
KWASU Journal of Fine and Applied Arts will publish original research, peer-reviews, and creative works that advance innovation and creativity, covering Fine Arts, Applied Arts, Design, creative writing, and other forms of expression. Its target audience includes: academics, researchers, students, artists, designers, and professionals.
Frequency of Publication and Publication Charges
The Journal shall be published biannually (April and October). The article processing charge is N7,000, and the publication charge N25,000. Authors from foreign countries will pay $10 USD article processing charge, and $40 USD. A publication charge will be applied after acceptance. The article processing charge will be paid after the submitted manuscript meets the journal's requirements for review, and the publication charge will be paid after acceptance of the manuscript. Reviewers of the manuscripts submitted to the journal will be paid for the task from the article processing charge, and the publication charge will be used for the sustainability of the journal's publications.
