About the Journal

KWASU Law Journal is a peer-reviewed publication of the Faculty of Law, Kwara State University, Malete, Nigeria. The Journal provides a platform for academics, scholars and legal practitioners to publish well-researched articles on topical issues of national, regional and international relevance, covering the full spectrum of legal disciplines. The Journal calls for well-researched articles, commentaries, case/statute/ book reviews in all areas of law and allied disciplines, including articles which adopt cross-cutting, multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary methods. 

KWASULJ has made a significant contribution to the development of legal research, especially in Nigeria and the West African sub-region. Contributions published in the journal have been cited by academics and in other fora. The journal accepts contributions primarily in English. All submissions are subjected to substantive in-house screening and double anonymised peer review to ensure that every publication makes a contribution to current discourses, especially in Nigerian law. KWASULJ is an open-access journal and charges a publication fee. The journal is published annually but contributions from authors will be attended to on a roll-on-basis.
