CALL FOR PAPERS
The Editorial Board of KWASU Business and Private Law Journal (KWASUBPLJ), a publication of the Department of Business and Private Law, Faculty of Law, Kwara State University, Malete, Nigeria, invites submissions of well researched articles, for publication in Volume 2 Number 2 of KWASUBPLJ. KWASUBPLJ is an annual peer-reviewed journal focusing on diverse areas of law, legal practice and the review of contemporary developments in law. Scholars are invited to submit manuscripts on topics in the following areas:
- Taxation and Revenue Law • Business Law and Administration
- Company Law • Law of Corporate Governance
- Intellectual Property Law • Land Law
- Law of Banking and Finance Alternative Dispute Resolution
- Law of Insurance • Trade and Investment Law
- Law of Torts • Legal Drafting & Conveyancing

GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION OF ARTICLES
- All manuscripts must be original and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
- A cover page that must include the name(s), affiliation(s), e-mail(s) and telephone number(s) of author(s) for correspondence.
- Submissions must be between 5000 - 7000 words and should have an abstract of not more than 250 words. Please provide 4 to 6 keywords which is to be used for indexing purposes.
- The main text of the articles should be typed in Microsoft Word document, Line Spacing: 1.5 Font: Times New Romans. Font Size: 12 (footnotes and references should appear in single line spacing) on A4 sheets with wide margins. Authors are urged to write as concisely as possible, but not at the expense of clarity. Pages should be numbered consecutively at the bottom (middle) of the page.
- All spellings should be in English (British Format).
- Citation and references should be in footnotes automatically generated and numbered sequentially.
- The Nigeria Association of Law Teachers Citation (NALT) available at: https://sabilaw.org/nalt-referencing-guide/. Or OSCOLA 4th edition, available at www.law.ox.ac.uk/oscola must be adhered to, for all submissions.
- Online sources should indicate the site and the last date of visit.
- Publication of articles indicates contributors’ consent to the transfer of the copyright thereto to the publisher of KWASUBPLJ. Contributors whose articles are published reserve the right to upload a copy of their articles on their personal sites or repositories, provided that it is stated clearly that the article was originally published in KWASUBPLJ.
- All submissions will undergo double blind peer review and plagiarism check.
- A non-refundable assessment fee of ₦5,000 should be paid with each submission into the account listed hereunder. After double blind review exercise, a publication fee of ₦20,000 will be paid by colleagues whose papers have been accepted for publication – Account Details –
